Markets, Festivals & Entertainment
The Edithburgh township delights in bringing to the YP community and our city visitors’ fun activities and events to engage and celebrate acclaimed theatre, music, dance and visual arts throughout the year. These events support community activities whilst applauding both local and national artists in a series of events each year.
Our Markets showcase local produce and wares regularly and are very popular with both locals and visitors alike.
Edithburgh Market is very popular with both local and visitors alike, offering freshly baked goodies, favourites like sausage rolls, jelly cakes, homemade pasties; good old fashion jams and preserves and if you’re lucky you can pick up some freshly baked artisan bread. The Market is located in the Edithburgh Institute with the main hall jammed-packed with old-favourites such as wooden toys and culinary trays, jewellery, knitted jumpers, children’s book pillows, aprons, outdoor cushions; fairy dresses and children’s costumes, you can even buy some doggy treats and apparel.
